Application selection

Start with the job that needs power.

Choose an application, document the equipment and working session, then compare candidate product families. Each guide includes a buying worksheet and the relevant product list.

Prepare the load list
before the quotation.

An application name helps narrow the range. A device list makes the buying question specific. Include simultaneous demand, startup behavior, hours of use, location, handling and the time available to recharge.

For a channel product, also specify the accessories, instructions and package your customer will receive. For an installed system, provide the site electrical configuration and the intended operating mode.

A useful application brief

  1. Equipment models and their electrical input
  2. Simultaneous operation and work cycle
  3. Desired operating time and reserve
  4. Handling and charging arrangement
  5. Market, quantity and acceptance requirements
